River Valley is very excited about offering a preschool program to our church and community.

River Valley Preschool provides a safe, healthy, nurturing environment for children from 3-5 years of age.  River Valley Preschool will offer a high quality, creative, and developmentally appropriate program that leads to children experiencing God's love and creating a foundation upon which social relationships and strong self-esteem are built.

Our Goals

• Build a  biblical foundation through a Christian curriculum
• Help children relate positively to others and be part of a group
• Enhance creative abilities
• Assist with adjustments from home life to school
• Ready them for the social, emotional, and academic requirements of elementary school

Cost:  Monthly cost is $135 (there will be no additional fees throughout the year)

Schedule:

• Ages 3-5 meet Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Ages 5 meet on Wednesday from 9:00am - 12:00pm in addition to the Tuesday and Thursday times.

• There are three classrooms 3/4, 4/5, and Pre-K.

• Children are expected to bring their own lunch from home.  A snack will be provided in the morning.

• School year runs from September 7 through May 26.
  

The extended Tuesday and Thursday sessions present more opportunities for development of social skills.  It also allows moms (parents) more personal time for other errands or activities.

Registration for 2010-2011

We will offer 3 options for this new school year:  3/4 and 4/5 year old classes, and a NEW 5s class for kindergarten age children waiting another year before starting school.  (this 5s class will also be meeting on Wednesdays in addition to the Tues/Thur schedule)

Schedule remains the same as last year, running September through May.
